New mini PCs presented under the name MSI Cubi Z AI 8M, very sober products that offer power and a large number of ports.
These MSI mini PCs mount a variety of processors, we have the AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS, Ryzen 7 8845HS and Ryzen 5 8645HS, all three manufactured in 4mm with AMD Phoenix architecture. This chip integrates the efficient Radeon 780M GPU of which you can check its performance in our review. This compact computer stands out for incorporating two slots for SDD M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0×4, two SODIMM DDR5 5600 MHz and multiple connectors on its sides.
The MSI Cubi Z AI 8M stands out for its two USB4 connectors, with speeds of up to 40 Gbps, 100 W load and gives us the option to connect an external GPU at good speed.

In this new MSI Cubi Z AI 8M undoubtedly highlights the powerful AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS processormanufactured in 4nm with a TDP between 35 and 54 W and cooled by a fan. This chip is an Octa Core with 15 threads that reaches 5.2 Ghz in turbo mode. For graphics we have an integrated AMD 780M with 12 RDNA 3 GPUs reaching 2.8 Ghz maximum speed. We also have simpler options with Ryzen 7 8845HS and Ryzen 5 8645HS.
If we open it we can locate two DDR5 5600 Mhz slots that allow mounting up to 64 GB. For storage we have the option to install an SSD M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0×4 up to 4 TB capacity.
Other notable features
In the network connectivity section, we have an Intel adapter with Wifi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 (RZ616) with internal antennas and two RJ45 2.5G network connectors. As interfaces we find on the perimeter of the case 5 USB-A 3.2 Gen 2 ports, another 2 USB4 Full, a USB-A 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack, and two HDMI 2.1 video outputs, in total there are four video outputs available up to 8K with HDR.
This PC is powered by a small external 12V transformer included. We also have a VESA plate to anchor it behind any monitor or TV. The operating system is Windows 11 Pro, but is compatible with Linux.
