The MSI Pro DP20Z is a version of this family of small mini PCs that comes without RAM, storage and processor so we can assemble something to our liking.
The board of this MSI supports AMD Ryzen 5000 series processors up to a maximum of an AMD Ryzen 7 5700G Octa Core, a very powerful chip for those who do not need dedicated graphics. Of this MiniPC we highlight its small chassis of only 2.6 liters and measures only 160.55 x 193.3 x 65 mm. Its storage expansion capacity is outstanding, as we can easily install up to 4 units.
Processor, RAM and storage
In the MSI Pro DP20Z we have a Socket AM4 where to install an AMD Ryzen 5000 processor to our liking. For RAM we have 2 slots SO-DIMM DDR4 3200 Mhz where we can plug up to 64 GB.
For storage we have many options, since despite the size of the case we have 2 connectors for SSD PCIe GEN3x4 NVMe and for two other 2.5-inch SATA 3 storage units.
Other specifications
This MSI in barebone format includes Wifi aC and Bluetooth 4.2 thanks to the included INTEL/3168.NGWG card and we see that on the back we have 2 connectors for external antennas. The audio is 2.1 Realtek ALC233 and the connectors have nothing to envy to those of a conventional PC, as we find 2 audio jack, 3 USB 2.0, a USB 3.2 Gen2 Gen2 Type-C, two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, RJ45 Gigabit network port, a VGA output, HDMI 2.0 and a DisplaPort 1.4.
