We already have among us the first TV-Box with Android 8.1 Oreo, it is a generic TV-Box with the name of MX10 that mounts the Rockchip RK3328 Quad Core SoC capable of moving without problem 4K video at 60fps. A device that we have already seen several times with different hardware, but that gives the starting signal to all the TV-Box with Rockchip SoC to bring installed the latest version of Android as an operating system, something that helps us gain some more life useful in the long term if it is still working.
SoC, RAM and storage
The TV-Box MX10 has as brain the RK3328 SoC that has four ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-450mp2 GPU that includes native decoding of H.265 video and VP9 up to 4K @ 60fps with support for HLG HDR. It also includes 4 GB of DDR4 RAM and has 32 GB of eMMc storage memory that can be extended by means of the SD card reader included.
Connectivity and other features
At the level of wireless connections we have b/g/n WiFi with double internal antenna and does not include Bluetooth. As ports we have a USB 3.0 connector, two USB 2.0, microSD card reader, 10/100 network connector, audio jack and SPDIF, AV jack and an HDMI 2.0a port. With this TV-Box is also included a feeder, HDMI cable and a basic IR remote control, as usual in these models.
