It seems that the 4GB of RAM is already standard in most TV-Box that include the SoC of Rockchip RK3328 since the new MXR PRO+ also includes this high amount of RAM. A certainly generous amount of memory but we will not use if we do not make great use of the TV-Box, if we are going to use it only as a basic media player better choose a model with 2GB of RAM and better support.
MXR PRO+ integrates the SoC Rockchip RK3328 which has four ARM Cortex-A53 processors and as a graphic core it integrates a Mali-450mp2 GPU that includes native decoding of H.265 video and VP9 up to 4K@60fps with support for HLG HDR. We also found 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 32GB of eMMc storage memory, Bluetooth 4.0 and dual band WiFi with internal antenna. As connectivity we have a USB 3.0 port, 3 USB 2.0, a 3.5 mm jack for SPDIF audio output, SD card reader, 10/100 network connector, audio output and finally analog video and an HDMI port 2.0a.
The operating system is Android 7.1 and among the accessories we have an IR remote control.
