Thanks to its four 2.5G Ethernet connectors we can create a powerful home or professional network. Thanks to the large number of ports, we can install up to eight SATA disk drives to store TB of information. We have the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS eight-core processor manufactured in just 4 nm and supported by an AI core. We have versions without RAM or disk, but we can also buy it with SSD RAM to have it operational from the first moment. It is recommended to install a LGA1700 fan.
8845HS NAS Board Specifications
The soldered processor we found is the AMD Ryzen 7 8845HS Octa Core with sixteen threads, speed up to 5.1 GHz and an NPU for AI up to 38 TOPS. It includes a powerful 12-core Radeon 780M iGPU that reaches a speed of 2.7 GHz. A processor manufactured in 4 nm with Zen 4/4c technology. With which we can move any demanding application, demanding games or play multimedia directly.
In the RAM memory section we have two SO-DIMM DDR5 5600 MHz slots with 32 GB of RAM expandable up to 64 GB in Dual Channel. In the storage section we have two slots M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe 2280 and allows us to connect up to 8 SATA disks with optional cables.
Other notable features
In terms of connectors, there are three USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, one USB-4 port (with Alt DP output), 3.5 mm audio jack and four 2.5G Ethernet ports. As video outputs we have HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 connectors with support for up to 8K@60fps resolutions, we have a total of three video outputs if we count the USB-C. We also have a PCIe 4.0×8 slot to use a graphics card
To use it we need to feed its 24 pin 4 pin connector port to an ATX power supply, but it can be compact and underpowered. The operating system supported is Windows 11 Pro, but we can also install Linux or any NAS-specific distribution.
