We already have in stores the new Intel NUC 10 in various configurations, these miniPCs installs Intel Comet Lake processors of 10th Generation in their low-power version. As always, NUC mini computers offer us good connectivity options, storage expandability and two slots to install RAM. These new NUC models are capable of playing 4K@60fps HDR video without problems and are available in the usual two sizes. Curiously a few days ago we met the Intel NUC 11 but it will still take a long time to reach the market.
Processor, memory and storage
The new Intel NUC 10 includes Intel Comet Lake-U 10th generation processors manufactured in 14nm, among the variants we have Intel Core i7-10710U, i7-10510U, i5-10210U and Intel Core i3-10110U processors, all with a maximum consumption of 15/25W TPD. They allow us to mount up to 64GB of RAM in two SO-DIMM DDR4 2666 slots, it also includes a M.2 SATA or NVMe interface for SSD disks at the storage level and in the high model we have a SATA port for a 2.5″ disk.
Connectivity and other features
It also includes a module with WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0, 3 USB 3.1 Type-C ports, a USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 2, Gigabit network connector, SDXC UHS-II card reader, IR receiver, a front audio jack, HDMI 2.0a port and Thunderbolt 3 compatible with DP 1.2 output. It also allows us to mount it on VESA support and has a 65W power adapter.
