Today we bring you the launch offer of the new TV-Box Nexbox A95X Pro that surprises us with its compatibility with Netflix HD (720p) which as we know is limited to a few specific models with Widevine L1 DRM and Android TV as installed OS. A price that compared to other stores is quite low, but they are limited units so we will have to be vigilant because they can fly quickly, we hope to do a review soon.
SoC, RAM and storage
Inside the Nexbox A95X Pro TV-Box we find the low-cost Amlogic S905W SoC that includes four ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit CPU cores capable of reaching 1.5GHz and a Mali-450mp5 GPU capable of decoding video up to 4K@30fps. Integrated on the board we find 2 GB RAM DDR3, 16 GB of eMMc storage memory that can be expanded by a card installed in its microSD slot.
Connectivity and other features
At the connections level we have in the wireless part a WiFi b/g/n adapter and it seems not to have Bluetooth something that surprises us because we do not know how the control with microphone communicates, perhaps it takes an extra USB adapter. In terms of connectivity, there are two USB 2.0 ports, a microSD card reader, an HDMI 2.0a up to 1080p60 or 4K30, a 10/100 network port, an analogue 3.5 mm jack for audio and video and a SPDIF digital audio output jack. The operating system seems to be Android TV 7.1 and by default we have a remote control with the ability to give voice commands.
