We already have available a new variant with AMD Ryzen 5 6600H of a modular mini PC that we saw a few days ago, and that in this case is called Ninkear MBOX 6.
Now it opts for an AMD Hexa Core processor with Radeon 660M GPU and of which you can read our full review. The modular design of this mini PC includes a magnetic base that connects to the main body expanding ports and allowing to mount an extra M.2 SSD inside. The main module can be used without connecting it to the Dock, as we have two USB-C ports, where one of them can be used for power and the other for video output or get more dead with a HUB.
We can also connect up to three screens at a time and highlight its good grille to promote ventilation and decorative detail with RGB light we have in one corner.
Ninkear MBOX 6 Specifications
This low power mini PC integrates an AMD Ryzen 5 6600H processor manufactured in 6 nm with Zen 3 technology. A Hexa Core chip with twelve threads, up to 4.5 GHz and including a 6-core Radeon 660M iGPU. With its power we can run any demanding app at a good level
In the available configurations we find variants of up to 16 GB DDR5 4800 MHz. For storage, we have an SSD M.2 2280 NVMe Pcie 3.0 with a capacity of 512 GB, in the lower modular area we have accommodation for an extra storage unit M.2 2280 up to 2 TB.
Connectivity and system
In terms of connectivity, in the Ninkear MBOX 6 we have an adapter with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2 and two RJ45 network ports, one of them 2.5G. On the perimeter of the case we have two USB-A 3.2 ports, two USB-A 2.0, 3.5 mm audio jack and two video outputs HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4. We also find two USB4 Type-C 3.2, one of them with data output, power, and DisplayPort 1.4 video. In total, we have 3 simultaneous video outputs up to 8K@60 HDR resolutions.
To power it we have a small external 12V DC adapter. The operating system is Windows 11 Pro, but we can install Linux if we prefer.
