During an event at MWC 2025, the new Nubia Focus 2 Ultra 5G smartphone has been unveiled, specifically focused on photography, but with a fairly affordable price tag.
A terminal in which undoubtedly highlights its rear photographic module that houses at its centre a 50 MP main sensor, 1/1.55 inches and a focal aperture of F1.47, surely an Omnivision OV50E. It seems that we also have 2 secondary cameras, although at the moment we do not know their characteristics. The physical ring surrounding the module is mobile and can be used to control the aperture and zoom between 13 and 72 mm. It also includes a specific button on the side to trigger the camera and facilitates its use quickly.
Its processor is a UNISOC T760, a chip manufactured in 6 nm, with great energy efficiency and a score of around 455,000 points in Antutu. An SoC with which we will have at all times a smooth performance in all kinds of apps and games and of course includes 5G connectivity. Finally, we note that the output operating system is Android 14.
Nubia Focus 2 Ultra 5G specifications
Inside this new Nubia smartphone we find a UNISOC T760 processor, an Octa Core that is manufactured in 6nm EUV and includes 3 clusters with a maximum frequency of 2.5 Ghz. The first cluster carries 4 Arm Cortex-A76 capable of reaching 2.2 Ghz and the second 4 ARM Cortex-A55. The GPU is a mid-range ARM Mali-G57 mp4 that reaches a top speed of 650 Mhz. As usual, in this range, we will have an iA module with a power of 3.2 TOPS.
We have 8 GB of RAM on the motherboard that can be expanded up to 24 GB using 16 GB extra from the storage memory. Regarding the internal storage, we have 512 GB that we can expand up to 2 TB thanks to the micro SD card reader that we find in the SIM tray.
Display and connectivity
The display of the Nubia Focus 2 Ultra 5G is a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with an FHD resolution of 2392 × 1080 pixels, 20:9 aspect ratio, 120 Hz refresh and a maximum brightness of 2800 nits. On top of the display, we have a 32 MP camera that complements the 50 MP main rear with 1-inch sensor and LED flash.
This new handset sports a 5G / 4G-LTE Multiband modem with Dual SIM tray, Dual Band Wi-Fi aC wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, FM radio, NFC, gyroscope, GPS 4-in-1 and a 5000 mAh battery with 33W fast charging. We have a single USB Type-C port for charging and data and for sound it incorporates a pair of DTS:X ULTRA compatible stereo speakers.
