A new budget-friendly smartphone designed for gamers has just been launched in the East: the nubia Neo 5 Pro 5G, featuring a pair of side triggers for gaming, vibration motors, and advanced SoC cooling.
Inside its IP64-certified water- and dust-resistant body lies the UNISOC T9100 processor—which is actually a rebranded UNISOC T820—scoring around 700,000 points on Antutu v11, making it quite capable for gaming.
Finally, the operating system is Android 16 with the MyOS 16 overlay, which, as expected, integrates various photo editing tools, games, and other AI-powered features.

Nubia Neo 5 Pro 5G Specifications
Powering this smartphone is a UNISOC T820 processor manufactured using 6nm EUV technology. This chip is an octa-core processor featuring an ARM Cortex-A76 core clocked at 2.7 GHz, three Cortex-A76@2.3GHz cores, and fourCortex-A55@2.1GHz cores. The GPU is an ARM Mali-G57 that reaches a maximum speed of 850 MHz.
For RAM, there are versions with 12 GB of LPDDR5X. Storage comes in 128 or 256 GB of high-speed UFS 2.2. There is also a microSD card slot supporting up to 2 TB.
Display and other notable features
The display is a 6.8-inchIPS panel with 1.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and is water-resistant. The front camera is 16 MP, and on the back, there is a 50 MP main camera and a 2 MP auxiliary camera. Wireless connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, NFC, a 4G/5G modem, and a USB-C port.
The battery is a generous 6000 mAh with 80W fast charging, and for audio, there are a pair of stereo speakers compatible with DTS X Ultra.
