It has already gone on sale in China the Nubia Z80 Ultra another high performance terminal under the umbrella of ZTE that comes loaded with new features in their cameras.
This high-end camera stands out for its 50 MP main camera with a new OmniVision Neo Master 990 sensor of large size, high brightness and corresponding to a traditional 35 mm lens. Also noteworthy is its 65 MP 3.3x telephoto lens, equivalent to an 85 mm lens, and the Neovision 5.0 engine that improves and optimizes photographs.
The rest of the configuration of this Nubia is at the height of the high-end with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor manufactured in 3 nm at the head. Finally, the operating system is Android 16 with and includes a programmable button in one of the sides of its IP69 certified body.
Nubia Z80 Ultra Specifications
The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 Octa Core manufactured in 3nm is responsible for moving this realme. Inside this Chip we find a configuration of 2 clusters, the fastest with 2 Prime Cores that reach 4.6 Ghz and a second with 6 Performance Cores that reach 3.6 Ghz. The GPU is an Adreno of which no details are specified at the moment, but which promises an increase in performance and efficiency of almost 25% compared to the previous generation.
The RAM memory has options with 12/16 GB LPDDR5X although we can expand it virtually as usual. For storage, we have versions with 512 GB and 1 TB UFS 4.1 high speed, it does not have micro SD.
Display and other features
Its screen is an AMOLED with size of 6.85 inches, resolution of 2688 x 1216 pixels, 144 Hz refresh, brightness of up to 2000 Nits compatible with Dolby Vision and includes light and proximity sensors.
For selfies we have a 16 MP camera on the front, while on the back we have a 50 MP OmniVision Neo Master 990 OIS main sensor, a 64 MP OIS x3.3 telephoto lens and a 50 MP wide angle. We also find ultrasonic fingerprint reader under the screen, 5G connectivity with Dual SIM, Wifi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, Infrared sensor, NFC and GPS.
As for connection interfaces, in this new phone we have at our disposal a USB-C port for data and recharging. The battery is 7200 mAh with fast charging 90 W, wireless 80 W and for audio we have two symmetrical speakers DTS-X compatible and enhanced with Qualcomm Snapdragon Sound technology.
Availability and price
- The new Nubia Z80 Ultra can currently only be purchased in China for about $699 / 600 € at the exchange rate and although it will go on sale globally soon, if we do not want to wait, we always have the option of AliExpress.
