Nvidia will cut the GPU Gaming production by 30-40% from 2026 onwards

It seems that the bad news for hardware does not stop, now we have information about NVIDIA and its possible production reduction between 30-40% in gaming GPUs.

The shortage of RAM memory dedicated to AI server farms makes the price of key components such as GDDR7 chips skyrocket to absurd prices. In the short term this is going to be reflected in a price increase of all graphics cards intended for gaming, having 16 GB of RAM or more integrated is going to be a real luxury in a few months.

All these upheavals will also be reflected in long-awaited products such as the Steam Machine, of which we still do not know the price and it is possible that it will surprise us for the worse. It should be noted that since a few weeks ago the price of RAM has skyrocketed, going on to triple or quadruple its value in stores.

Future of hardware and RAM

There is no doubt that we will see an impact on all consumer hardware requiring RAM and NVMe disks. This will imply a stagnation at the software level and developments will cut this section in their specifications. It also remains to be seen how it will affect future PS6 and Xbox Magnus consoles, if they are not delayed.

A problem that looks set to drag on until 2028, if it does not slow down or burst the bubble of all the creation of AI centers by brute force.
