New NVIDIA Shield Experience 9.2.2 update released. It’s impressive how long this device has been on the market, now 10 years.
This new official 9.2.2 firmware fixes minor bugs and adds optimizations to improve the user experience. It’s a minor update that downloads automatically thanks to the OTA system, which makes it very easy to install these improvements on our device. If we don’t see the message about this new version, we can check manually in the settings by forcing a search for new updates.
The Nvidia Shield is undoubtedly immortal, although all its fans are waiting for a new version with hardware support for new codecs such as AV1 or with an HDMI 2.1 port with better features.
