The OnePlus Tablet 2 is now on sale in China, a version that improves the processor and changes the design with respect to the OnePlus Pad 2.
Inside this version we have the Mediatek Dimensity 9400 processor manufactured in 3 nm, an update of its previous version with more computing power. This tablet continues to wear an interesting 12.1″ 3K screen with a refresh rate of 144 Hz Dolby Vision compatible and a powerful cooling system, so we will be able to use this tablet with games without any problem.
The operating system is Android 16 with the custom layer ColorOS 16. At the moment it is not known if we will have global version for this new tablet that does not look bad.
OnePlus Tablet 2 Specifications
The SoC of this new tablet is a Mediatek Dimensity 9400, an Octa Core manufactured in 3 nm by TSMC. Inside we have three clusters, the most powerful with 1 Arm Cortex-X935 processor that reaches 3.63 Ghz. In the other two clusters we have 3 Arm Cortex-X4 processors and, on the other hand, 4 Arm Cortex-A720 processors. The GPU is an Arm Immortalis-G925 MC12 and includes support for HDR10 , HDR VIVID and below. We also have an NPU 890 for artificial intelligence work.
The RAM we have versions with 8/12/16 GB LPDDR5X. For storage we have versions with 256 / 512 GB UFS 4.1 high-speed expandable by micro SD card up to 2 TB.
Display and other features
The screen of this OnePlus is a 12.1″ IPS, with a resolution of 3000 x 2120 pixels, with a brightness that reaches up to 900 Nits and has a configurable refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. In the photographic section in the rear area we have an 8 MP sensor while in the front area we have another 8 MP camera.
The battery is 10,420 mAh with fast charging 67 W. We also find a good audio system with 8 speakers, wireless connectivity Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and as a connector we find a single USB 3.2 Gen1 port.
Price and where to buy
- The OnePlus Tablet 2 has just been introduced in China for about $369 / 339 €. As always we will soon have it for sale in stores like AliExpress.
