A new external GPU has been unveiled under the name ONEXGPU Lite, a product that stands out for its reduced size and weight despite the power it offers.
This new aluminum eGPU case is equipped with a dedicated AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT card, making it possible to run any current game at 1080p or higher with good quality. This graphics solution is the younger sibling of the current ONEXGPU 2 with superior graphics. Along with the case, there is a 120 W adapter, which is sufficient for its power supply. It also supports reverse charging up to 65 W to power a laptop, for example.
A perfect solution for a mini PC or laptop with an OCulink, USB4 V2, or Thunderbolt 5 port, allowing us to get the most out of this port with its 64 and 80 Gbps transfer speeds. You can see more details on eGPU performance in our article on the subject.
ONEXGPU Lite
This ONEXGPU Lite case has a gaming design with the classic LED lights that are a must-have. Inside, we have the AMD Radeon RX 7600M XT with RDNA 3 architecture, which has 8 GB GDDR6 18000 MHz 128 bits, a core speed of up to 2810 MHz, PCI-E 4.0×4 communication, a DP 1.4 port, and an HDMI 2.1 port. It also has an OCulink 1.4i interface that gives us 64 Gbps output, and another USB4 V2 port that can reach up to 80 Gbps.
To control temperatures, it has a large vapor chamber and up to three fans to extract all the heat generated by the graphics card at maximum performance.
Other ports and features
There are also three USB 3.2 ports that allow peripherals to be connected directly, and a USB-C 3.1 port that provides 65 W PD output for connecting a laptop, for example. However, it is better to connect any peripheral directly to your PC using its own USB ports, as this will not interfere with the output bandwidth. The eGPU case weighs 469.5 g and measures 116 x 114 x 34.5 mm.
There is a DC connector for the included 120 W power supply. This is undoubtedly an ideal box to take anywhere and boost the graphics of your gaming sessions on a mini PC or laptop.
