OneXPlayer ONEXStation, a compact workstation featuring the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395

The new OneXPlayer ONEXStation mini AI Workstation mini PC has been unveiled—a machine with a striking design crafted from a single piece of CNC-machined aluminum.

This compact workstation from OneXPlayer features a vertical tower design with multiple ventilation slots. Inside, it houses the powerful AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU, which offers 16 cores and 32 threads clocking up to 5.1 GHz, along with an AI core delivering 50 TOPS. For graphics, it features the Radeon 8060S GPU with 40 cores running up to 2.9 GHz, built on RDNA 3.5 architecture. Additionally, it includes other notable features such as Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, two USB4 ports, and a built-in 240 W power supply that provides ample power for its operation.

The front of this computer’s case features a perimeter strip of RGB LED lights that can be controlled via the brand’s software. It also stands out for its power button and turbo mode control button.

The OneXPlayer ONEXStation features the powerful AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395 APU , manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm FinFET process. Inside, it features a 16-core, 32-thread Zen 5 CPU that reaches a speed of 5.1 GHz and a 16 TOPS AI NPU for artificial intelligence tasks (126 TOPS NPU + GPU + CPU). For graphics, it includes a powerful 40-core Radeon 8060S iGPU running at up to 2.9 GHz. For cooling, it features a dual-fan system and an old-school turbo mode button.

In terms of RAM, the board features 128 GB of LPDDR5X integrated in a dual-channel configuration at 8000 MHz. For storage, it offers two high-speed 2280 NVMe PCIe 4.0×4 SSD slots, expandable up to a total of 8 TB.

Other notable features

In terms of wireless connectivity, the OneXPlayer ONEXStation features a Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 wireless adapter. For ports, it includes three USB-A 3.2 Gen2 ports, an audio jack, a 2.5 G Ethernet port, and four video outputs (HDMI 2.1 and DP 1.4 HBR3), as well as two USB4 ports supporting up to 40 Gbps. On the front, there is also an SD 4.0 card reader, an audio jack, and a performance profile selector button.

As we can see, the 240 W power supply is internal, and in turbo mode, it boosts the CPU to 120 W; there are also other low-power modes at 55 W and 85 W. Perfect for limiting heat and noise if you don’t need all its power.
