One of the highlights of this 8.8″ handheld PC is that it allows us to detach its side controls, in the style of the Nintendo Switch. As usual, it is possible to connect it to our TV or monitor and use it as an external screen. OneXPlayer X1 Mini Specifications
Inside the OneXPlayer X1 Mini we find the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor manufactured on 4nm. This is an Octa Core chip with 16 threads that reaches 5.1 Ghz in turbo mode and has a base speed of 3.3 Ghz. The integrated GPU is an AMD Radeon 780M with RDNA3 technology that integrates 12 cores and a top speed of 2.7 Ghz. To accelerate AI functions as a novelty we have a core for AI with computing power 16/38 TOPS.
In the RAM memory section we will have the option of up to 32/64 GB LPDDR5X at 7467 MHz in Dual Channel and for storage we have an SSD M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 x 4 2280 of up to 4 TB.
Display and other notable features
The OneXPlayer X1 Mini ‘s display is a touchscreen LTPS LCD with a size of 8.8 inches, resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels, brightness of 500 nits and refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. We also have Wifi 6E connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2 and six-axis gyroscope.
As controllers we have detachable gamepads, these offer us a configuration with two analog sticks Hall Effect, crosshead, four buttons, four triggers and various function keys. The connectors we see are two USB Type-C ports, one of them USB 4, another Thunderbolt4 and an Oculink port to connect an external GPU. We also have a 3.5 mm audio jack, micro SD card reader with support for up to 2 TB and a USB-A 3.0 port.
This consolidated PC includes magnetic keyboard, vibration, camera for facial unlocking, fingerprint reader and two Harman speakers . The internal battery is 65 Wh with 100 W fast charge that will give us an autonomy of between 2 and 5 hours depending on the type of game. Finally, the operating system installed is Windows 11 Pro with the OneX configuration panel, its thickness is 20 mm and the weight is 710 g.
