A new terminal of the prolific brand OPPO has just been presented in China, the new OPPO A5, another option for the wide range of smartphones that do not reach 200 €.
An Oppo where stands out in its configuration its generous 6500 mAh battery that will give us a good autonomy and allow us to use this smartphone all day. Its body has a fairly resistant chassis to falls and shocks and is certified IP69 protection against dust and water, even at high pressure.
Inside we have a solvent mid-range processor manufactured in 4 nm as is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 that will give us good performance and low consumption that will lengthen its already large battery. As a system we have the ColorOS 15 layer with multiple iA functions based on Android 15.
OPPO A5 Specifications
Inside this smartphone we have as main engine a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 (SM6450) SoC manufactured in 4 nm. An Octa Core chip with high-performance ARM Cortex-A78 processors capable of reaching 2.2 GHz, four ARM Cortex-A53 processors with a maximum speed of 1.8 GHz and the GPU is an Adreno 710. A processor with a power to move apps without problems and games at medium or low level.
This new terminal comes with 8/12 GB of LPDDR4X 2133Mhz RAM soldered on the board. For storage, we have 128/256/512 GB UFS 3.1, with the option to expand it up to 1 TB thanks to the micro SD card reader included.
Display and other features
Its display sports a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels, 120 Hz refresh, maximum brightness of 1200 Nits and featuring light and proximity sensors.
For selfies we have on the front an 8 MP camera that complements the 50 MP OIS rear that is aided by a 2MP depth sensor. We also have a fingerprint reader integrated into the screen, 5G connectivity with Dual SIM, Dual Band Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and 5 in 1 GPS for precise positioning anywhere
As for connection interfaces, in this new phone we find a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data and recharging. The battery is 6500 mAh with 45 W fast charging and for audio we have two speakers.
