It has just been presented the new OPPO A5i a cheap terminal range that comes with a body reinforced against falls and water-resistant.
An economic OPPO that is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 processor, which is really nothing more than a renamed Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, an SoC with 4G connectivity and presented at the end of 2019. An integrated that gives a score of about 210,000 points in AnTuTu v9, so we will not be able to demand too much from it, although to give it a basic use it will be enough.
As an operating system it has Android 15 with the ColorOS 15 layer, so the life of this terminal can be quite good if the brand updates it minimally. Finally, we highlight its screen, which although not high resolution, has a maximum brightness of 1000 Nits, which is not bad within its range.

Display and other features
This OPPO has a 6.67-inch IPS display with 1604 × 720 pixels resolution, 90 Hz refresh and maximum brightness of 1,000 nits. As cameras, we find a 5 MP front for video conferencing that complements the main 8 MP with LED Flash.
We also find Dual Band Wi-Fi aC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, fingerprint sensor integrated into the screen and a 4G-Lte modem with Dual SIM. The battery is 5100 mAh, compatible with fast charging up to 45 W and as connectors we find an audio jack 3.5 mm and USB Type-C.
Price and availability
- The new OPPO A5i will go on sale in the coming months globally at a price that has not been disclosed, although we assume it will be below 100 €.
