The new mid-range OPPO A7 Pro was unveiled in China. The device features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display and stands out for its 8,000 mAh battery, which will provide good battery life.
The MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX is a 6-nm octa-core processor; it’s essentially a Dimensity 6300 with a slightly faster GPU and a few minor updates, scoring 650,000 points on Antutu v11. The device is IP69K-certified for water and dust resistance and features military-grade drop resistance; it weighs 205 grams, which is quite good considering it has a substantial battery.
It comes with 6/8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, though this can be virtually expanded, as is customary. For storage, it offers 256 GB of UFS 2.2, which can be expanded via a microSD slot up to 2 TB.
Its display features a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2372 x 1080 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, and a peak brightness of up to 1400 nits.
For selfies, there’s an 8 MP front-facing camera that complements the 50 MP rear camera with an LED flash. It also features an in-display fingerprint reader and 5G/4G connectivity with Dual SIM, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and GPS. In terms of connectivity ports, this new phone features a USB Type-C 2.0 OTG port for data transfer and charging, as well as a 3.5 mm audio jack. The battery has a capacity of 8,000 mAh with 45 W fast charging, and it includes a single speaker for audio. The operating system is Android 16 with the brand’s custom UI, ColorOS 16, which includes the usual AI-powered features.
