The well-known brand OPPO has just put on sale in China its new high performance but low price, the OPPO Pad 5 that comes with 12.1-inch 3K screen compatible with stylus.
A mid-range tablet that draws attention for its 6 speakers, which make it a good choice for use in multimedia consumption. Inside we find a recent Mediatek Dimensity 94000 processor manufactured in 3 nm and which has as a great novelty the new high-performance CPU Arm Cortex-X935. Its operating system is Android 16 with the ColorOS 16 layer.
Finally, note that we have Wi-Fi 7 connectivity, NFC and a metal body with a thickness of 5.99 mm and a weight of 577 grams. Interesting tablet for its price, let’s see if there is luck and comes to the West.
OPPO Pad 5 Specifications
The SoC that mounts this new OPPO is a Mediatek Dimensity 9400 , an Octa Core manufactured in 3 nm by TSMC. Inside we have three clusters, the most powerful with 1 Arm Cortex-X935 processor that reaches 3.63 Ghz. In the other two clusters we have 3 Arm Cortex-X4 processors and, on the other hand, 4 Arm Cortex-A720 processors. The GPU is an Arm Immortalis-G925 MC12 and includes support for HDR10 , HDR VIVID and below. We also have an NPU 890 for artificial intelligence work.
The RAM memory we have soldered on board has versions with 8/12/16 GB LPDDR5X. For storage we have versions with 128 / 256 / 512 GB UFS 3.1 high speed that this time can not be expanded with a micro SD card.
Display and other features
The screen of this OPPO is a 12.1″ IPS , with a resolution of 3000 x 2120 pixels with maximum brightness of 900 nits, screen ratio 7:5 and a configurable refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. In the photographic section in the rear area we have an 8 MP sensor while in the front area we have an 8 MP camera.
For audio, we have six speakers and the battery is 10,420 mAh with fast charging 67 W. We also find light sensors, gravity, hall, color temperature, gyroscope, wireless connectivity Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and as a connector we find a single USB 3.2 Gen1 port.
