The new OPPO Pad Mini has just been unveiled in China—a small but powerful tablet featuring an 8.8-inch high-resolution AMOLED display and cutting-edge specifications.
Powering this OPPO is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, which scores around 3,000,000 points on AnTuTu v11, so you won’t experience any lag issues with even the most complex games. Its design features screen bezels measuring just 2.99 mm; its dimensions are 194.38 x 132.38 x 5.39 mm, and it weighs around 280 grams.
Finally, the operating system is Android 16 with the ColorOS 16 skin.

Powering the device is the powerful Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, manufactured on a 3 nm process. Inside this chip, we find a 2-cluster configuration: the fastest cluster features 2 prime cores clocking up to 3.8 GHz and a second cluster with 6 performance cores reaching 3.32 GHz. The GPU is an Adreno 829, ensuring good performance in all types of games.
RAM comes in 8/12GB LPDDR5X configurations, though it can be expanded virtually, as is standard. For storage, there are versions with 256/512 GB of high-speed UFS 4.1, and this time there is no microSD card reader.
Display and other features
The display is an 8.8-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 2520 x 1680 pixels, a 144 Hz refresh rate, and a peak brightness of up to 1600 nits. On the front, there is an 8 MP camera, while on the back, there is a 13 MP main sensor. It also features Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6 wireless connectivity.
As for connectivity ports, it features a USB-C 3.2 Gen1 port for data transfer and charging. The battery is an 8000 mAh unit with 67 W fast charging, and for audio, it includes two symmetrical speakers and two microphones.
Availability and price
- The new OPPO Pad Mini is currently only available for purchase in China for about €460 at the current exchange rate; we don’t yet know if it will be released globally, though we always have the option of AliExpress.
