The Chinese manufacturers are fast and have been copy the design of Apple’s iPhone X in many aspects, today we find the new OUKITEL U18 that tries to imitate it in its front design, basically in the upper zone with the cameras and sensors. This is only a try, because it is obvious that the similarity after a first glance is quite a poor because to begin with its size is superior. Naturally inwardly they have nothing to do since the OUKITEL U18 is the typical Chinese Sub-$160 with a fairly normal hardware as many that we have seen on the market off lately where the originality shines by its absence.
The SoC of the OUKITEL U18 is an Octa Core MT6750T of Mediatek that integrates 2 processor clusters, one with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores that reaches 1.0 GHz and another with four cores with a maximum speed of 1.5 GHz while in the graphic section integrates a Mali-T860mp2 GPU. This Smartphone also includes in PCB 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage memory, GPS, b/g/n WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, FM Radio, 4000 mAh battery and a modem with support for 2G/3G/4G Cat.6 networks and DUAL SIM slot.
The screen is a 5.85-inch IPS 21:9 with resolution of 1512 × 720 pixels (HD+) and in the section of cameras we have a front of 13 MP and in the back we have 16 MP + 5 MP with flash area where we also have the fingerprint reader. At the level of connectivity we found a microSD card reader, audio jack and a USB Type-C port for charging and data, the operating system used is Android 7.0.
