Oukitel WP27, rugged and lightweight smartphone with 8500 mAh battery

Oukitel has just unveiled its new ruggedized smartphone Oukitel WP27 that will arrive in stores on September 18 at a special price.

The Oukitel WP27 stands out at the design level for its version, with camouflage decoration on the back and a screen utilization of the front that reaches 93%. Also, noteworthy is its weight of 328 grams and a thickness of 15.3 mm, good numbers for a reinforced terminal like this that enjoys IP68, IP69K and military MIL-STD-810H certifications.

Despite its weight, it has a good 8500 mAh battery that can give us up to 1000 hours on standby, 53 hours talking and can last about two days with normal use. In terms of cameras, we highlight its night vision sensor with a range of up to 20 meters and the rear Samsung 64 MP. The rest of its hardware highlights its solvent Helio G99 processor with 12 GB of RAM and high-speed storage. The Oukitel WP27 comes with Android 12 with some extra functionality such as extreme saving mode and programming of the SOS button that carries this terminal.

The Oukitel WP27 smartphone includes as engine a MediaTek Helio G99 processor, an Octa Core manufactured in 6nm. A chip with 2 ARM Cortex-A76 processors that reach 2.2 Ghz and 6 ARM Cortex-A55 that reach up to 2.0 GHz. In the graphics section, we have integrated GPU Mali-G57 MC2 that allows us to play demanding titles quite fluently.

The RAM memory that we have soldered on board in the Oukitel WP27 is 12 GB LPDDR4X, which can be expanded up to 24 GB using the storage memory. For storage, we have 256 GB UFS 2.2 high-speed expandable by micro SD card up to 1 TB.

Display and other notable features

The screen of the Oukitel WP27 is a 6.80″ LTPS with a resolution of 2460×1080 pixels, with an average brightness of 430cd/m², 1000:1 contrast, 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 120 Hz refresh. In the photographic section we have a 16 MP front camera, the set of rear cameras has a main Samsung S5KGW3SP13 64 MP, a Sony 20 MP night vision camera and a 2 MP macro with LED Flash.

It has rear fingerprint reader, dual-band Wi-Fi aC, Bluetooth 5.1, quad GPS, 4G-Lte modem with global bands and DUAL SIM and NFC compatible with Google Play. For connectivity, we find a single USB Type-C OTG port, while the battery is 8500 mAh with 33 W fast charge and 5 W reverse that is going to give us ample autonomy.
