If you like retro and are looking for a platform where you can play without installation problems, the Pandora Box Wifi from Leonarcade is an alternative to connect and play without further delay.
Within this version of the Pandora Box that includes WiFi we find 8000 games loaded, although they are actually much less, as we always have different versions of each game. In terms of software we have a complete game emulation system possibly based on MAME for multiple platforms and a two-player control panel with Sanwa style controllers and Arcade buttons that serves as a box for all your hardware and is backlit with RGB LED strips.
An alternative that stands out for its ease of connection and configuration and controls if you do not want to complicate your life setting up a retro machine as you can do with Batocera or EmuELEC.
Pandora Box Specifications
The Pandora Box Wifi arcade seems to include an Amlogic S812 chip, an Amlogic Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A9 processors and a Mali-450mp8 GPU, a processor totally outdated today, but with which we can emulate systems like Neogeo, SFC, NES, GB, GBA, MD, Dreamcast and others.
We also have 64 GB of internal storage memory where we have 8000 preinstalled games although it has the capacity to put up to 10,000. Connecting via Wifi we have an online store where we can download many more games and emulators of various machines. As connectors, we find on the front two USB 2.0 ports where we can connect up to 2 additional controllers, HDMI and VGA video outputs, a quick access button to the configuration menu and a volume wheel.
The games have save game options at any time and through the configuration menu we have access to all kinds of options for improving the image of the games, language settings, customization of the controllers, search for games by various parameters or browsing through them and access to the store. Note that in the menus for the selection of games for each title we have a small video that will always help us to remember and locate a game.
