New fanless mini PC called Partaker N8 with robust aluminum case. A system that surprises us with the inclusion of Intel Gen14 U processors.
This peculiar passive mini PC with metal case offers us Intel Gen14 processors with low power consumption that we have not seen in many machines, we have versions with Intel Ultra i5 125U or Ultra i7 155U. This compact computer will offer us good performance thanks to the 5 nm lithography (Intel 4). A processor that integrates an Intel Xe GPU and has an NPU for AI. With this hardware we can run many more computationally demanding apps, games up to some 3D load and videos with new generation codecs.
A very interesting system for those who want to mount something resistant in industrial buildings or for industrial signage without worrying about an active fan.
Partaker N8 Specifications
The Partaker N8 mini PC offers several similar versions, we have the Intel Core Ultra 7 155U or Ultra 5 125U processors, manufactured in 5 nm. These chips have 12 cores that reach a maximum speed of 4.8 GHz and 4.6 GHz respectively (2P 8E 2LE) and 14 threads, with 12-57W TPD consumption. It has a dedicated AI NPU up to 1.4 GHz. The GPU with 4 Xe-Cores with image and performance enhancements with XeSS and also integrates a dedicated NPU for AI job acceleration.
The maximum RAM memory that can be mounted is 32 GB in a SO-DIMM DDR5 4800 MHz. In the storage section we have a NVMe 2280 connector for an SSD. We also have space for a 2.5″ SATA 3 disk where we can install an extra storage unit.
Other notable features
In this passive mini PC we also find a M.2 Wifi BT card slot with connectors for external antennas. Inside we also have the option to mount an M.2 3052 card for a 4G/5G modem that allows to install a SIM card through a slot in the case.
In terms of connectivity we find in the box 3 USB 3.0 ports, 1 USB 2.0 port, three RJ-45 Ethernet 2.5G network connectors, two RS232/485 COM ports and an audio jack. We also have three HDMI 2.0 USB Type-C video outputs up to 4K@60fps HDR video resolutions to connect up to four displays.
These mini PCs support Windows 11 Pro operating system without any problem, we will have to buy an OEM license to install it. It is also compatible with Linux systems. It includes VESA DIN rail support and an external power charger.
