PH20S a mini projector with Android 7 and interactive screen

Today we find in our usual walk through the bazaar a curious projector of small format that catches our attention for various aspects. The first of these aspects is that we can interact with the projected screen as if it were a mobile phone thanks to the included stylus, an unusual feature. It is also significant the inclusion of Android 7.0 as OS a system that is quite rare on the projectors where unfortunately reigns the old Android 4.4.

Inside the aluminum box of the PH20S we find a DLP LED projector with 200 ANSI Lumens brightness, contrast of 1000:1, native resolution of 854 × 480 pixels, manual focus and with a screen size can go from 10 to the 150 inches with a projection range of between 0.9 and 114 ft. It also includes automatic trapezoidal correction, loudspeaker and an internal 5600 mAh battery that gives it autonomy when it comes to projecting and can function as a power bank.

The PH20S projector includes as engine the RK3128 Quad Core SoC where we have ARM Cortex-A7 processors and a MALI-400mp2 GPU, a quite old SoC but surprisingly it seems to include Android 7.0 as operating system. Integrated on board we also have 1GB of RAM, 8GB of storage memory, WiFi b / g / n and Bluetooth 4.0. At the level of connectivity we find a microSD card reader, 1 USB 2.0 port, 3.5mm audio jack and an HDMI port.

  • The Mini PH20S Projector can be purchased on from about  $294.48 including shipping.
