There are not too many tablets in the market with certified IP protection and much less in the cheap segment as we see today in the new PIPO N1. A tablet with 10.1-inch screen that has IP54 certification to resist small splashes and dust penetrate inside but also we see that it has some anti-fall protection in the corners. A basic tablet but interesting if we have a small one at home or we just want to use it in spaces where dust is present.
SoC, RAM and storage
PIPO N1 includes a SoC of Mediatek MT8735, a Quad Core with ARM Cortex-A53 processors capable of reaching 1Ghz and an ARM Mali-T720mp2 GPU. The installed RAM is 2 GB and the storage is 32 GB although we can increase it thanks to the included microSD port. A sufficient configuration for a basic tablet but with a GPU not too powerful.
Screen and other specifications
The screen of the PIPO N1 is a 10.1-inch IPS with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels that includes in its upper part a 2MP webcam with microphone while in the rear face we have another 5MP. It also includes Dual Band WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 6000 mAh battery. At connectivity level we would have a 3.5mm audio jack, a USB Type-C port for data and power and a microHDMI video output.
