Global launch of the new budget-friendly POCO Pad C1 tablet

The new POCO Pad C1, an entry-level tablet, has been unveiled globally. It is essentially a rebranded REDMI Pad 2 SE, as the two devices share exactly the same specifications.

The POCO Pad features a 9.7-inch display with a resolution of 2048 × 1280 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and a maximum brightness of 600 nits. Overall, it’s a tablet that can handle just about anything if you’re not too demanding.

POCO Pad C1 Xiaomi Inside its metal unibody, we find the Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 2, which is manufactured on a 6 nm process. This chipset scores around 690,000 points on AnTuTu v11, so it will be more than sufficient for basic use. The display also holds its own, featuring 2K resolution and the standard 16:10 aspect ratio.

A tablet with 4/6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage, expandable via the microSD card slot. For cameras, there’s a 5 MP front-facing camera for video calls, complemented by an 8 MP main camera with an LED flash.

It also features Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, and two speakers compatible with Hi-Res Audio. The battery is 7,600 mAh, supports fast charging up to 18 W, and includes a USB Type-C port and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs Android 16 with the Xiaomi HyperOS 3 overlay.
