This tablet is basically the global version of the Redmi Pad Pro presented a few weeks ago and stands out for its 12.1″ screen, with a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and a resolution of 2.5K. In this Poco we have a mid-range Qualcomm SoC as is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, able to move most apps and games without problems. A tablet that also has all the DRM certificates to view content in FHD quality services like Netflix.
As software, we have the Xiaomi HyperOS layer, a customization based on Android 14 that will give us long-term updates.
POCO Pad Specifications
This tablet includes a powerful SoC Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, an Octa Core manufactured in 4 nm. This is a chip with 4 ARM Kryo processors that reach 2.4 Ghz and 4 ARM Kryo-A720 that reach up to 1.95 GHz. In the graphics section we have integrated GPU ADRENO 710 that reaches 1.3 Ghz and allows us to play demanding titles with total fluidity. A SoC that has a score in Antutu v9 of about 700,000 points.
The RAM memory we have soldered on board is 8 GB LPDDR4x that allows us to load multiple apps or navigation tabs. For storage, we have 256 GB of high-speed UFS 2.2 expandable by micro SD card up to 1.5 TB.
Display and other notable features
The POCO Pad has a 12.1″ IPS display, with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels with Dolby Vision support, 600 nits brightness, 1500:1 contrast and a configurable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. A screen that is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, capable of preventing many scratches. In the photographic section, we find in the rear area an 8 MP camera, while in the front area we have another 8 MP camera.
In the audio section we have four Dolby Atmos compatible speakers, two microphones with noise reduction while the battery is 10000 mAh with 33 W fast charging. For wireless connectivity we have Wifi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 and as a connector we find a USB-C 2.0 port and 3.5 mm audio jack in case we want to connect headphones. Finally, its metal body has a thickness of 7.52 mm and a weight of 571 grams.
