Today we have among us a new retro console with the name of Powkiddy X28. In this case we have the SoC Unisoc T618 that offers us an interesting performance.
The Powkiddy X28 retro console includes a 5.5-inch IPS display with HD resolution. Inside we find the well-known SoC Unisoc T618, a chip that allows us to play even some games of the Nintendo Gamecube, Dreamcast, PSP, PS1, some PS2 and of course those that we can download from the Google app store. The on-board RAM memory is 4 GB and for storage we have 64 GB eMMc, plus SD card reader.
By default, we have Android 11 operating system and we have a 5000 mAh battery that will give us enough hours of use. A powerful console that can be greatly improved by installing the best designed Daijishō or BOD4Droid frontend.

As we have seen in the new Powkiddy X28 we have the efficient and extended Octa Core SoC Unisoc T618 manufactured in 12nm. A set that has 2 high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 processors capable of reaching 2.0 GHz, six ARM Cortex-A55 processors with a maximum speed of 2.0 GHz ARM and an ARM Mali-G52 MP3 GPU that reaches 850 MHz.
In terms of memory, we have on board 4 GB of LPDDR4x 1866Mhz RAM and 64 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand with the included micro SD card reader up to 512 GB.
Display and other features
The touch screen is 5.5 inches IPS (with MIPI interface) and with a resolution of 128×720 pixels. In the connectivity section we have dual-band Wifi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 LE. We have a 5000 mAh battery that will give us about 5 hours of use with medium brightness, a pair of speakers, vibration motor and a front microphone.
In terms of connectivity we find a 3.5 mm audio jack, two USB Type-C ports for data and internal battery charging and HDMI output. We also have Gyroscope and the layout of the rest of the buttons is totally classic with Playstation distribution.
