We already have for sale the new Powkiddy X35H retro console, which is the horizontal design version of the Powkiddy X35S.
A portable that as in its horizontal version includes the Rockchip RK3566 processor, present in many retro consoles. This chip allows us to run the included PSP, N64, PS1 and Dreamcast emulators, as well as many other 8 and 16-bit consoles. In its body we find two readers for micro SD, one to boot your Linux system , Powkiddyos, a distribution type Batocera and another slot for storing games.
Its dimensions are quite small, 15 x 7.7 x 2.4 cm and it weighs only 181 grams, so it is quite portable.
POWKIDDY X35H Specifications
This new console is powered by a Rockchip RK3566 SoC manufactured in 22nm. This processor is a Quad Core with low-power 64-bit ARM Cortex-A55 cores reaching up to 1.8 Ghz, with a Mali-G52 MP2 GPU and an NPU for iA with a power of 0.8 TOPS.
This retro console includes 1 GB of LPDDR4X RAM and for storage and booting the LINUX system we have two micro SD card readers with support up to 256 GB each.
Display and other notable features
The screen that mounts the POWKIDDY X35H console is an IPS OCA with a size of 3.5 inches and a resolution of 640×480 pixels. As for controls we have a configuration with two analog sticks, cross, four buttons, four triggers, start, select, reset and function key. The connectors are a USB Type-C OTG, 3.5 mm audio jack for connecting headphones and a USB Type-C exclusive for power.
This console has two speakers and an internal 3000 mAh Li-Po battery that provides up to 4 h of autonomy with a charging time of 1.5 h.
