Powkiddy X51, retro console with 5″ IPS screen and Switch Style

Today we have a new retro handheld console named Powkiddy X51. A machine that offers us a fairly large 5″ screen and with a design as we see is a shot of the popular Nintendo Switch.

This Powkiddy X51 retro console has a design with analogue controls on both sides and triggers. This device offers us good connectivity, we have two USB ports designed to connect two external Gamepads. As we can see in its design, we have a 5″ horizontal format screen with IPS technology. As usual, by default we have various emulators such as PS1, CPS1, CPS2, FBA, NEOGEO, GBA, GBC, GB, SFC, FC…

As for controls, this emulation machine has two analogue sticks above the crosshead and quite a few buttons. We also have HDMI video output to connect it to an external screen.

The new Powkiddy X51 retro console has as its main engine an Actions ATM7051 Quad Core SoC manufactured with 4 ARM Cortex-A9 processors capable of reaching 900 MHz maximum speed, in the graphic aspect it integrates an SGX540 GPU.

This console has 128 MB of LPDDR2 RAM and 128 MB ROM, an amount of memory that limits us to 2D machines and some PS1 games. It comes with a 64 GB micro SD used to save the Linux system and a large number of games.

The screen is a 5-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. The internal battery has a capacity of 2500 mAh capable of lasting up to 8 hours, we can recharge it through its USB Type-C port.

The rest of the connectors that we find, two USB 2.0, a 3.5 mm audio jack, a micro SD card reader, micro HDMI video output and for audio we have a simple 0.8 W speaker.
