The well-known brand of the retro emulation world Powkiddy does not stop releasing consoles. Now, we already have available the new Powkiddy X55.
Inside this Powkiddy we have the Rockchip RK3566 processor that we have seen in several reviews and that we can currently find in many retro consoles. This SoC allows us to move, according to the brand, the 30 emulators included PSP, N64, PS1 and Dreamcast plus many more 8 and 16-bit consoles. We have two micro SD slots, one to boot your Linux system with a Batocera-like distribution and another slot to use as game storage.
The Powkiddy X55 already has a version of the JELOS distribution which makes it quite interesting. Although if you are interested in something with a better quality screen and the same SoC, you have the Anbernic RG503 with 4.5″ OLED for only a few euros more.
