The Chinese brand Qintex Tech already has prepared a new TV-Box that will see the light in a few weeks, this time under the name of QINTAIX Q10 we have a team based on the powerful RK3399 SoC from Rockchip. A new mediaplayer that stands out in sight for its case made of CNC aluminum, with an exclusive design and available in several colors that is only 18mm high. The rest of the specifications of this team are on par to the box that we hope to see it first hand in our review.
SoC, RAM and storage
At the hardware level, the Qintaix Q10 integrates the Hexa Core RK3399 SoC as a motor, where we find a cluster of 2 ARM Cortex-A72 processors able to reach 2.0Ghz and a second cluster with 4 ARM Cortex-A53 processors. Its GPU is a Mali-T860mp4 that has support for decoding H.26 / H.264 and VP9 4K@60fps codecs among others, a SoC that we have tested in different reviews with poor results. It also integrates 4 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32 GB of expandable eMMc storage memory thanks to the microSD card reader found in the back.
At the wireless connectivity level, this TV-Box has a dual-band Wifi with external antenna and Bluetooth 4.1. The connectors are located on the back, there is a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, HDMI 2.0, Gigabit network connector and a audio output jack.
The operating system of the QINTAIX Q10 is Android 7.0 and among the accessories we include the typical IR remote control. It also seems that optionally there is a modem version for 3G mobile networks.
