We continue with new devices with the Android TV system installed by default, this time it is the R-TV BOX R10 model that surprises us with its circular design, something that we had not seen for quite some time. As usual in this type of device we have a remote control with integrated microphone that allows us to give orders to Google Assistant, a command that requires connecting a USB adapter because it works by radio frequency.
SoC, RAM and storage
On the R-TV BOX R10 disc we found the Rockchip RK3328 SoC that integrates four ARM Cortex-A53 processors and a Mali-450mp2 GPU that includes native H.265 and VP9 video decoding up to 4K@60fps resolutions with HLG HDR support . We have 2 GB of DDR3 RAM and 16 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can extend by adding a memory card in the included microSD card reader. A SoC that defends itself perfectly as a multimedia player and with KODI but with a GPU that is a bit fair for next-generation games in maximum detail, such as with PUBG.
Other specifications
The wireless connectivity of this TV-Box is decent since it has WiFi dual band AC and Bluetooth 4.1. In the perimeter of the box we can see a grid that theoretically helps with ventilation and we also find a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0, 10/100 Ethernet connector, analog AV jack and an HDMI 2.0a port that allows you to take out 4K@60fps. Finally comment that the OS is Android TV based on Android 7.1.
