R-TV BOX X10, 2GB of RAM and SoC S905W for only $ 29.99

If what we are looking for is a basic Box to mount on a fullHD TV and use KODI, today we have an interesting low-priced option with the TV-Box R-TV BOX X10. It is the typical Chinese product with a configuration that we have seen many times in multiple boxes but that thanks to its 2GB of RAM can be used as a mediaplayer, for other tasks such as Netflix or HBO we have better alternatives in the market since the quality of these channels is limited to the minimum in this type of Boxes.

SoC, RAM and storage

The R-TV BOX X10 has as central engine the SoC S905W of AMlogic that integrates four CPU cores ARM Cortex-A53 capable of reaching up to 1.5GHz and a Mali-450mp5 GPU that decodes video up to 4K @ 30fps resolutions. It is available in two versions with 2GB of DDR3 RAM and 16GB of eMMc storage memory, a memory configuration that can be extended thanks to the microSD card reader included in one side.

Other specifications

At the level of wireless connectivity this cheap box only has b/g/n Wi-Fi with internal antenna, the usual in these low cost boxes. As connectors we have an HDMI 2.0a interface, a pair of USB 2.0 ports, an analog A / V output, SPDIF output for digital audio and a 10/100 network connector distributed on the sides of the black plastic case.

The operating system is Android 7.1.2 and it is also delivered with an IR remote control, a power adapter with the right adapter for our region and an HDMI cable. This can be an interesting model to use with LibreELEC because it is compatible.
