They do not stop appearing in the Chinese market new TV-Box of the lowest range with prices ranging between $25 and $30 and among these today we find the R69 an old acquaintance that we had already seen but with the SoC Allwinner H2. This variant of the R69 includes the low-end Quad Core RK3229 SoC a chip that defends itself correctly as a mediaplayer and that is able to reproduce without problems even 4K video at 60fps as we have seen in some of our reviews. On the rest of specifications nothing to comment, worthy of the low range, the same type of support that we will have in this mediaplayer.
SoC, RAM and storage
The TV-Box R69 includes, as we have said the Quad Core Rockchip RK3229 SoC that integrates ARM Cortex-A7 processors and a Mali-400mp2 GPU. It also includes 1 / 2GB of RAM on board depending on the variant and 8 / 16GB of eMMc storage memory that we can increase thanks to the microSD card reader located on one side of the box.
Connectivity and other features
Regarding wireless connectivity we only have Wi-Fi b/g/n with internal antenna since it does not have Bluetooth. The available connectors are located on the back and one of the sides where we find two USB 2.0 ports, HDMI 2.0 video output that allows 4K up to 60fps, 10/100 network port, analog A / V connector and an SPDIF digital audio output .
In terms of operating system we found Android 6.0 and among the accessories could not miss a basic IR remote control in addition to an HDMI cable to connect it to our TV or screen.
