The new realme C01 smartphone has been unveiled, a device designed to compete on price and positioned in the entry-level segment. The RAM crisis is undoubtedly taking us back in time.
This modest smartphone comes with IP64 protection against the elements. The design, as we can see, is very classic and lacks any standout features; it’s all about simplicity and cost-cutting. A standout feature of its specs is the inclusion of a solid 6,500 mAh battery, quite generous with 15 W fast charging. It also features an audio jack, which is rare these days.
Powering the device is a UNISOC T7250 processor, essentially a rebranded UNISOC T615 with slightly higher clock speeds. It runs Android 16 with the Realme UI overlay and weighs 201 grams.

Inside the realme C01 (RMX5399) is the UNISOC T7250 processor, manufactured on a 12-nm process by TSMC. This chip is an octa-core processor that includes two high-performance ARM Cortex-A75 cores capable of reaching 1.8 GHz, along with six ARM Cortex-A55 cores with a maximum speed of 1.6 GHz. The iGPU is an ARMMali-G57 MP1 running at 850 MHz, which is sufficient for playing less demanding games.
Soldered onto the board is 4 GB of LPDDR4 RAM, which can be expanded using the storage memory. For storage, the device offers 64/128 GB of high-speed UFS 2.2 memory, which can be expanded via the microSD card reader by up to an additional 2 TB.
Other notable features
This phone features a 6.8-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 1570×720 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. In the top bezel of the screen, there’s a 5 MP camera with a microphone that complements the main 8 MP rear camera with a built-in flash a very simple setup.
This Realme model features wireless connectivity, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, a 4G LTE modem with Dual SIM support, and 4-in-1 GPS. Inside, it houses a 6500 mAh battery with 15W PD fast charging. In terms of connectivity, it features a USB-C port for data transfer, an audio jack, a speaker, and a microphone.
