The new Redmi Buds 5 Pro headphones are now on sale, with a substantial improvement in sound compared to the Redmi Buds 5.
A new Redmi incorporates high-end features, as they incorporate a dynamic driver and a tweeter, improvements in noise reduction and audio codecs. We also have a body with IP54 protection against splashes and sweat and active noise reduction of up to 52 db with 3 levels of sensitivity. On the other hand, the autonomy of the Redmi Buds 5 Pro reaches up to 10 hours on one charge, an excellent figure.
As always, these Redmi include technology for a simple pairing system compatible with MIUI 12 and above so that right out of the box they automatically connect with our smartphone. Note that we will also have a gaming variant with a different design and a latency of only 20ms, but so far we have not seen them for sale.
Specifications of the Redmi Buds 5 Pro
The Redmi Buds 5 Pro include Bluetooth 5.3 low energy connectivity, with a range of over 10 meters in open environment and a low latency of 49ms. These headphones feature dual dynamic drivers with a 10 mm ceramic tweeter a 11 mm diameter titanium plated dynamic driver for optimal, high quality sound. They also include Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification and LHDC 5.0 Bluetooth codec.
In terms of autonomy, these headphones integrate a 160 mAh battery that allows us to play music for up to 10 hours that are reduced to 6.5 hours by activating the noise cancellation. If we use the 700 mAh battery of the case, we have extra charge to recharge up to another 38 hours. To recharge the case battery, we have a USB Type-C connector for easy connection.
