Redmi G the gaming laptop from Xiaomi is now available for purchase


We already have available for purchase in Chinese stores the gaming laptop Redmi G, Xiaomi’s bet for the gaming sector. A laptop that has several configurations for its hardware but that stands out for its price.

We have a 10th generation Intel processor combined with a discrete GPU NVIDIA GTX 1650 / TI that integrates 4 GB of dedicated RAM, something that ensures good performance in any demanding game with the right settings. We also have a backlit keyboard specially focused on gaming and a 16.1″ screen that reaches 144 Hz.

Processor, RAM and storage

The Redmi G laptop can be purchased in 3 versions with the latest generation of Intel Core i5-10200H, i5-10300H and i7-10750H processors. In addition to the discrete GPU NVIDIA GTX 1650 with 4 GB GDDR5 in the version with Core i5-10200H processor and a GTX 1650 TI with 4 GB GDDR6 for the other versions. It also includes 16 GB DDR4 in Dual Channel, a 512 GB NVMe SSD and a free connector for another SSD M.2. As a ventilation system we have two powerful fans.

Display and other specifications

The Redmi G‘s screen is a 16.1-inch, 1920×1080 pixel FullHD resolution, with a brightness of 300 cd/m² and screen refresh rate of up to 144 Hz. On top it includes a HD 720p webcam with microphone and has the latest in adapter is wireless with WiFi 6 2×2 MIMO and Bluetooth 5.1.

As for the included connectors we have two USB 3.1 Gen2 ports, one USB Type-C, one USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0 and mini DP 1.4 video outputs, 3.5 mm audio jack and Gigabit Ethernet port. The operating system is Windows 10 and has a backlit keyboard, we can order some vinyl stickers to put it other languages. The dimensions are 373 x 264 x 24 mm and the weight is 2.5 Kg.
