Xiaomi has already announced a new high-performance device, the REDMI K100 Pro, a smartphone that features the new Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series processor—a version with a significantly scaled-back GPU compared to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5.
An IP68-certified body protects its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series processor, an octa-core chip with the Adreno 840 GPU supported by an exclusive AI-powered graphics chip called D2, which, according to the company, improves gaming performance. This chip is manufactured using a 3-nm process, ensuring extreme performance and outstanding energy efficiency. The device features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2510 x 1156, a 185 Hz refresh rate, and a brightness of up to 4500 nits and is compatible with Dolby Vision.
Versions are available with 12/16 GB of ultra-high-speed LPDDR5X RAM. For storage, options include up to 256/512 GB of high-speed UFS 4.1.
On the camera front, it features a 32 MP front-facing sensor, a 200 MP main rear camera with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 50 MP 2.5x periscope telephoto lens. It also features Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 6.0, an IR sensor, NFC, GPS, and a 5G modem with dual SIM support. For audio, it features BOSE-certified speakers, and the 8,580 mAh battery supports 100 W fast charging via its USB-C port and 50 W wireless charging.
The device runs HyperOS 3, based on Android 16, which includes exclusive features to enhance productivity and the gaming experience.
