The new REDMI Note 15R has just been launched in China, a mid-range terminal that this time is not likely to reach Western lands.
A REDMI smartphone that already arrives with the usual protection against dust and splashes and this time that is driven by the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 processor, with 5G connectivity. An integrated that gives a score of about 450,000 points in AnTuTu v10, so it has enough power to give it a standard use. Highlight its good 7,000 mAh battery and its high-resolution screen and a refresh rate that reaches 144 Hz.
The operating system is Android 15 with the Xiaomi HyperOS 2 layer, so we have a guarantee of long-term updates.
REDMI Note 15R Specifications
This REDMI terminal has a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC manufactured in 6nm. This chip is an Octa Core with 2 ARM Cortex-A78 processors that reach 2.3 Ghz, 4 ARM Cortex-A55 with maximum speed of 2.0 Ghz and an Adreno 619 GPU that reaches 840 Mhz.
A smartphone that has different versions with 8 or 12 GB of RAM LPDDR4X and 128/256 GB of storage memory UFS 2.2 expandable via micro SD card slot that carries the SIM card reader.
Display and other features
The screen is a 6.9-inch IPS with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels, 144 Hz refresh rate and maximum brightness of 850 nits. As cameras we find a front 8 MP for video conferencing that complements the main 50 MP supported by auxiliary ones, of which we do not know their characteristics and an LED Flash.
We also find Dual Band Wifi aC connectivity, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, NFC, fingerprint sensor on the power button and a 5G modem with Dual SIM. The battery is 7000 mAh with fast charging up to 33 W and 18 W reverse. Finally, as connectors we find a USB Type-C and for audio there is a Hi-Res Audio compatible speaker.
