GENERAL CONCEPTS
These USB 3.0 or USB 3.1 peripheral connection cables offer us the possibility of using our peripherals in any type of device that supports this standard connector USB Type-C, we can transmit data, video or audio with the same connector. In addition, the connector is reversible with what we can connect without looking always right. The basic specifications of these cables are those that we can see in the following table.
Within the USB Type-C standard we have multiple forms of connection that allow us to perform other functions in addition to conventional data loading and transfer, the so-called Alternate mode. With these modes we can transmit different protocols by the same connector or add more information, all this means that the maximum bandwidth is distributed accordingly.
CONCLUSIONS AND BUY LINKS
Opinion
As we can see in the review the MINIX brand offers us with the MINIX NEO C-G HUB a practical with many ports, it can be useful if you have a laptop that has a USB Type-C port, we will expand the connectivity options significantly. In this HUB we can use all types of devices, but certainly allows significantly expand the Macbook that have very few ports and this easily expand the possibilities.
In the design section we have the usual brand, the materials are also quality, is quite careful and not at all out of place. We must highlight the temperature it reaches in use, the HDMI 2.0 output may be limited in use formats depending on the OS we use. The addition of two SD card readers is always practical and the Gigabit Ethernet port is always an interesting point for networking.
The new MINIX NEO C-G is a device that allows you to easily expand your laptop, just connect the cable to the USB Type-C port and everything will be detected automatically.
