Today we came across a new Android box on AliExpress called the RT-X3, which is powered by a Realtek processor, so we can expect good video quality if we use it as a media player.
The RT-X3 runs Android TV 14 with access to the Google Play Store, and it comes with a Bluetooth remote control and microphone featuring dedicated shortcut keys for streaming apps. It supports technologies such as AV1 and HDR10, along with video enhancements powered by AISR and APQ algorithms.
At the heart of this Android TV box is a Realtek RTD1325 processor. This is a quad-core chip featuring low-power Arm Cortex-A55 processors capable of reaching 1.7 GHz and an Arm Mali-G57 MC1 iGPU.
There is only one version available, featuring 4 GB of DDR4 RAM soldered onto the board and 32/64 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, which can be expanded via a USB flash drive connected to one of the USB ports.
In terms of wireless connectivity, this new Android Box features Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2. The included ports are two USB 2.0 ports, a 10/100 RJ45 Ethernet port, analog audio and video outputs, and an HDMI 2.1b video interface capable of outputting video at resolutions up to 8K. As usual, an HDMI cable, a power adapter, and a remote control with a microphone are included so you can start using this Android box right away.
