We have not seen any TV-Box equipped with the SoC Octa Core S912 and 3 GB of RAM for a long time, but today we break this trend with the new SatXtrem WT18. A team that stands out for the marble decoration of its plastic box and for having a fairly complete hardware configuration with the powerful S912 SoC of AMlogic at the helm. This system includes Android 7.1 as an operating system, although as usual the updates are will shine for their absence.
SoC, RAM and storage
The TV-Box SatXtrem WT18 includes as engine the SoC Octa Core S912 that mounts processors ARM Cortex-A53 of 64 bit and a GPU Mali-T820MP3 with support for decoding of UHD video 4K 60fps and HDR among others. This model has 3 GB of DDR3 RAM and 32 GB of eMMc storage memory that we can expand thanks to the microSD card reader implanted on one side.
Connectivity and other specifications
Regarding wireless connectivity, this Chinese TV-Box includes WiFi aC with internal antenna and Bluetooth 4.0. At the level of interfaces on the sides of the box we have a pair of USB ports, SPDIF digital audio output, Gigabyte network connector, HDMI 2.0 video output and an analog connector for audio and video.
