Qualcomm has just unveiled its new mid-range chipset the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 which according to the brand far surpasses the previous generation, we assume the Snapdragon 6s Gen 3.
This new Octa Core SoC is manufactured by Samsung on 4nm, the previous generation on 6 nm, and includes 4 high performance Qualcomm Kryo processors (Cortex-A78) reaching 2.6 Ghz and 4 efficient Qualcomm Kryo (Cortex-A55) reaching 1.8 GHz. The iGPU is an Adreno of which we do not have specific data at the moment.
This new chip could not miss 5G connectivity, support for cameras up to 200 MP and support for NFC, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.4. It is capable of managing screens with FHD resolution and 144 Hz refresh, and for a change this time we do not have an integrated NPU to process iA jobs.
