Qualcomm has just presented a new Snapdragon 750G mid-range SoC manufactured by Samsung in 8 nm LPP that includes as the main novelty a Snapdragon X52 modem with support for 5G mobile networks capable of reaching download speeds of 3700 Mbps and upload speeds of 1600 Mbps with a minimal ping.
Support for Full HD + screens @ 120 Hz is also included, a feature aimed at the Gamer segment that is gaining more and more strength in the smartphone market and more in the mid-range.
Specs
The Snapdragon 750G integrates 2 high-performance Kyro 570 cores (modified ARM Cortex-A77) capable of reaching 2.2 Ghz + 6 low-power ARM Cortex-A55 cores that reach up to 1.8 GHz. The GPU this time is an Adreno 619 that improves by 10% to the Adreno 618 GPU and the NPU / DSP a Hexagon 694. For the RAM we have support for up to 12 GB LPDDR4X and the high-speed storage memory UFS 2.1.
It also includes support for Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, GPS / Beidou / GLONASS / Galileo / QZSS / NavIC / SBAS navigation and Quick Charge 4+ fast charging. For photography, we have a Qualcomm Spectra 355L ISP capable of handling a 192 pixel camera or two in unison 32 + 16MP, 4K @ 60fps video and Bokeh in real time among others.
Market availability
- The new Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G will be available shortly on the market, and we would not be surprised if it wore the new Xiaomi Mi 10T Lite that will be presented on September 30.
