The STRONG Leap-Nova X, a media player for your TV, is now available if you’re interested in using paid streaming apps, as it’s certified for use on these platforms.
Inside this stick is the new Amlogic S905X5M-J quad-core SoC, which features a total of 2 GB of DDR4 RAM and 32 GB of storage on the motherboard—far exceeding the usual 8 GB. It boasts excellent network connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. This stick can be used as a 4K video player, for emulation, Android gaming, and much more thanks to the new Amlogic SoC. It supports technologies such as Dolby Atmos, DTS, AV1, HDR10, and Dolby Vision.
The operating system is Android TV 14 with the Google TV launcher. The included ports are limited to a single USB-C port for power and an HDMI 2.1 video output with 4K@60fps resolution. As usual, a Bluetooth remote control with a microphone is included for issuing commands via Google Assistant.
This stick does not include a power adapter, only a USB-C to USB-A cable, as it can be powered from a USB port on your TV, since it consumes only 3 W. If it restarts, you will need to supply it with more power using any 5V 2A mobile charger.
