SZDIIER D-007 another small portable retro console with OpendinGux

Another console called SZDIIER D-007 that arrives in stores, this time of the vertical type and with a design where rounded lines prevail in its design.

A retro portable console with hardware quite similar to what we find in the Powkiddy RGB20S, since we find the same processor, screen size, 3.5″, and resolution. As a system, we have the OpendinGux linux distribution loaded with multiple emulators. The only distinguishing point is its two sticks with luminous LED halos located in the lower part of the console, which with this position do not seem very comfortable.

SZDIIER D-007 Specifications

The SZDIIER D-007 retroconsole is powered by the Rockchip RK3326 SoC, a Quad Core manufactured with 4 ARM Cortex-A35 processors capable of reaching a maximum speed of 1.5 GHz. In the graphic aspect we have a Mali-G31 MP2 GPU that defends itself quite well, although in heavy 3D games it can suffer.

This console we have integrated 1GB of DDR3L RAM and comes with a micro SD with 16 GB used to save the system and save some games.

Display and other features

This retro handheld console has a 3.5-inch IPS OCA screen with a resolution of 640×480 pixels and covered by OCA foil. The internal battery has a capacity of 3500 mAh capable of lasting up to 8 hours and that we can recharge it through a USB Type-C port.

The rest of the connectors that we find are a 3.5 mm audio jack, USB Type-C OTG connector and a micro SD card reader. For the sound we have a speaker and for controls we have two analogue Joysticks, crosshead, seven buttons, four rear triggers.
